Stage Set for Landmark PIF Global Series Finale: World’s Best Converge at Mission Hills Resort Shenzhen for $2M Aramco China Championship

It all comes down to Shenzhen for the PIF Global Series. With the prestigious individual series title on the line and crucial Ladies European Tour Order of Merit points up for grabs ahead of next month’s season-ending championship in Spain, the world’s best players head to Mission Hills Resort for a high-stakes, two-million-dollar showdown

Global golf stands poised for the marquee finale of the 2026 PIF Global Series calendar, with tournament organiser Golf Saudi set to welcome 108 world-class golfers to Mission Hills Resort Shenzhen next week for the landmark $2 million Aramco China Championship.

Serving as the fifth and decisive stop of the prestigious global circuit—following tournaments in Riyadh, Las Vegas, London, and Seoul—the Shenzhen showcase represents the definitive battleground of the series. With valuable Ladies European Tour Order of Merit points, Rolex World Ranking positioning, and the lion’s share of a lucrative prize purse on the line, the individual stroke-play championship marks the pinnacle conclusion of the 2026 PIF Global Series calendar.

Taking on the celebrated World Cup Course at Mission Hills from November 5–8, the elite field will battle over four rounds of pure individual stroke play, bringing head-to-head competitive tension to every hole.

Major champion and LPGA standout Danielle Kang headlines an elite international field, bringing world-class star power to Shenzhen alongside fellow Golf Saudi ambassadors Olivia Cowan, Marianne Skarpnord, and powerhouse Dutch star Anne van Dam. Setting the stage for an electrifying cross-continental duel, the global vanguard will face formidable home-soil resistance, spearheaded by defending champion Ruixin Liu and a rising contingent of China’s top talent determined to keep the trophy on domestic ground.

Beyond the action inside the ropes, the tournament reflects tournament organiser Golf Saudi’s dedicated vision to championing commercial equity, investment, and global broadcast reach across women’s golf. Through the PIF Global Series, the showcase actively bridges vital economic and sporting corridors connecting the Middle East, Europe, and the booming Asia-Pacific market.

Noah Alireza, CEO of Golf Saudi, said: “Shenzhen brings a world-class field to one of the finest venues in Asia, with Order of Merit points on the line and plenty still to play for as the season runs on. From 2027 our support sits behind the Order of Merit across the full Ladies European Tour season, through our multi-year partnership with the Tour. A player earns her living across a whole year rather than in a single week, and we want our investment to work the same way. This season has created life-changing opportunities for players, and we are proud of that. At the heart of everything we do at Golf Saudi is building the game at home in Saudi Arabia and backing this Tour is where careers are made and future golfers can aim for.”

Golf Saudi’s work at home to grow the game sits behind everything it supports internationally. More than 15,000 people in the Kingdom have signed up for golf lessons and over 4,000 are on the waiting list, more than a third of them women. Golf Saudi is expanding academies and coaching, including a new program with the LPGA Professionals, a group dedicated to the advancement of golf through teaching, coaching, managing golf facilities and more, with the ambition of growing from around 4,500 active golfers today to more than 30,000 within five years.

Global broadcast coverage will reach more than 100 territories worldwide, delivering live action across linear television, regional sports networks, and premier streaming platforms. Comprehensive digital coverage, live scoring, and behind-the-scenes content will be delivered throughout tournament week across official series channels.
