Major Champion Yin And Lpga Star He Headline Powerhouse Chinese Line-Up At Aramco China Championship

Former World No 1 and Major champion Ruoning Yin will headline alongside fellow Chinese star Muni He at the Aramco China Championship, set for 6-8 November 2025 at Mission Hills China – the series finale of the 2025 PIF Global Series on the Ladies European Tour (LET).

Both Yin and He secured top-10 finishes at the 2024 edition of the event in Shenzhen with Yin taking ninth at 11-under-par and He tied for 10th at 10-under.

Yin, also known as ‘Ronni,’ is currently ranked World No.3 and serves as a Golf Saudi ambassador. After three top-10 finishes already this season, she is targeting a first victory of the year, while through her ambassadorship she hopes to inspire young girls to come out and support her as part of the PIF Global Series’ commitment to empowering women.

The five-time LPGA champion, who narrowly missed a second Major title this year after a five-player playoff loss to Mao Saigo at the Chevron Championship, is relishing her return to Mission Hills China.

Ruoning Yin said: “It’s always a great feeling to be back home and play in front of family and friends. I don’t get many opportunities to compete in China, so every time I do, it’s extra special. I learned a lot from my performance in Shenzhen last year, and I’m really excited to return this year.

“As for Mission Hills Resort, I’ve only played this course once, but I think the key to a good performance is definitely on the greens. If I want to shoot a low score, I need to put more focus on my putting.”

Golf Saudi will once again take centre stage as the organisers of the season-ending Aramco China Championship, underscoring their ongoing commitment to growing the game in the region and empowering women in sport. The event promises to be a blockbuster conclusion to the 2025 PIF Global Series, showcasing top international talent alongside China’s rising stars. With more high-profile players set to be confirmed in the coming weeks, Golf Saudi continues to highlight its ambition to elevate women’s golf globally while inspiring the next generation of female athletes.

He, one of China’s most recognisable golfers, is no stranger to Mission Hills China. Having previously lived in Shenzhen and spent countless hours practicing at the venue, she describes the course as feeling like ‘home’.

Muni He said: “Fun fact, it’s actually when I first started golfing, I was about five years old, and at the age of six, we actually moved to Shenzhen for eight months. So it’s kind of a full circle to be able to go back and, you know, now compete there at the highest levels of golf, but, yeah, it brings back a lot of really good memories just walking through the clubhouse with the same colours on the walls and things like that. It makes me feel right at home.

“Last year was the first year that we had the tournament out there, and the amount of support I had from the fans was really, really amazing to me. It made me feel really emotional, and I’m really looking forward to it. It’s a different type of environment, because the fans are so passionate. And, you know, they’re there to cheer you on no matter what and they really do say just sweet things to you every hole. It is different, but it’s the type of pressure that is good.”

The PIF Global Series is a Ladies European Tour–sanctioned initiative, with this event serving as the fifth and final stop of the 2025 series following tournaments in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, England, and the United States. The LET season will then conclude later in November with its finale in Andalucía, Spain.

Spectators can expect thrilling, world-class golf, a showcase of the very best in women’s competition, and a spectacular finale to the PIF Global Series to cap off an unforgettable 2025 season.
