Mission Hills Golf Academy

Since 2000,Mission Hills Golf Academy has developed several outstanding junior golfers under the guidance of Mr.Wu Xiang Bin,head instructor of China’s National Colf Team,and his team of instructors.Instructors include past China PGA Tour event winners,national team players,and professional instructors with oversea experience.Mission Hills Golf Academy strives to develop the next champion.

Philosophy

The instruction methods of the Mission Hills Golf Academy are based on Mr.Wu Xiangbin’s “Ten-Point Swing” theory, a highiy effective swing technique that is easy to learn and master. The technique identifies and works on different aspects of a golfer’s game for optimal flexibility to meet individual needs and see quick results. Each instructor is certified in the “ten Point Swing” theory to ensure consistency in teaching.

Instructors
XIANGBING.WU

Wu Xiangbing was the winner of the inaugural PGA Championship of China and has been involved with the golf industry for over 23 years. Since 2000 he has dedicated himself to teaching golf full time. With his teaching experience and theory,he has cultivated many of China’s top players and is widely know as the “Best Instructor in China”.

ANNA XU

She was the instructor of China’s National Golf Team in 2006. With over ten years of experience teaching golf, she has developed a unique teaching method which combines teachnique together with physical & mental conditioning.

SCOTT LIANG

Fluent in Korean, Liang Shengli shares his vast knowledge of the golf swing and understanding of playing top level competitive golf with his students. In 2006 and 2007, he finished 2nd and 3rd in the China Amateur Golf Tour, and 2009, he became a teaching professional.

JACK XU

With a deep understanding of the “The Point Swing”system,Xu enjoys teaching golfers at all levels and aims to improve everyone’s golf game. For junior students he has a unique way of teaching and training young golfer of varying talent levels.

SHERRY GONG

Sherry Gong transferred to professional coaching in April 2004 to switch her focus from competition to golf teaching and research. She acquired a solid teaching base through long-term learning, training, assessment, and practice. , Sherry’s professional teaching is, easy to understand, teaching methods which can help players from the beginners to advanced! levels.

AARON CAI

Aaron Cai qualified as a coach in China in 2005 and joined Mission Hills Golf Club. Having previously coached professionally and completing his technical training at the headquarters of David Leadbetter, he acquired his coaching qualification certificate. He combined a solid theoretical knowledge and a wealth of practical experience with the David Leadbetter teaching philosophy to form a unique style of teaching. The golf training program he carefully tailored for young golf students has realised very impressive teaching achievements.

JIANWEI WEI

He has state-of-the-art teaching method, combined with a rich knowledge of teaching philosophy. He is very patient and his highly effective swing technique is easy to learn and master for players of all levers.

LINGZHAO ZENG

He has been engaged in the golf industry for 13 years, He can devise a training plan for various groups with his 5 years of teaching experience. He can help students grasp the essentials of the golf swing in a variety of simple ways

YINGQIANG ZHAN

He has been involved in the golf industry for 8 years, obtaining a Chinese Mid –Level Certification with a first prize in China. He served his internship coaching with the national team and studied golf teaching and it’s technology with an international coach. He has designed and targeted a teaching program according to different characteristics and levels of the students.

CHENGXIANG LIU

His aim was to establish and guide students in the correct concept, training program and scientific training methods, combined with and clever pitching strategy. At the same time, his in-depth swing understanding of golf principles together with a thorough analysis of special shots gives the majority of scholars maximum assistance.

CINDY SUN

Cindy came into contact with golf in 2002.She worked in Mssion Hills Golf Academy since 2007. Through her many years of experience of teaching golf, she identifies and corrects swing mechanics to improve everyone’s golf game efficiently.

SAM WU

With his rich knowledge of golf swing mechanics,and outstanding ball striking skills,he can heip students of all levels to reach their goals.

XIAOLONG FENG

Feng Xiaolong is a CGA professional coach ,having a wealth of theoretical knowledge of his teaching system, making it clear and easy to learn. He is proficient in the technical essentials of all clubs and can make the process of teaching golf enjoyable and fun.

HAO WANG

He graduated from the Hebei Institute of Physical Education. Wang has a good understanding of golf swing to meet the needs of all physiques and ability levels in the game of golf.

DAVID NORQUAY - Overseas Instructor

David is a NZPGA “AAA” class Golf Professional since year 2000. He is a Level 1 accredited Harold Swash putting instructor trained by Phil Kenyon, Europe’s top putting instructor. David was the Canterbury (NZ) Provincial teacher in 2007 and also in 2007 was named Canterbury Coach of the Year.

He has taught all levels of players ranging from beginners to elite amateurs and touring professionals. David has Spent time studying and teaching in many countries from New Zealand, Australia, Korea, England and now China. Three of his students joined the New Zealand National Team in 2008 and one of the students Daniel Pearce played the World Junior (under 19) stroke play in top 20. Student Terry Ha became the member of KPGA in 2011.

Facilities

Specializing in on-course instruction, the Mission Hills Golf Academy builds its foundation on the unique experiences offered by Mission Hills’ 12 legendary courses.

The academy is located on the Members Driving Range at the Shenzhen Clubhouse. The range is strewn with bunkers and features a large lake to help players practice precise swings and shots. The facility has 3 natural grass teeing boxes and 32 practice bays. Two additional greens are specially designed for putting and chipping exercises.
